We cannot say enough good things about Kendra and her team of staff that helped us. The communication/response time was quick. The house itself was authentic, beautiful, clean, comfortable and safe. The views from the multiple patios included the ocean and the capital building. The experience of sitting on them and watching the streets below bustle with the Cubans going about life, as well as seeing locals on their balconies was a valuable and enjoyable part of the experience. We did not need to leave the apartment in order to feel like we were getting the Havana experience! They helped us with cooks, local guides, drivers, agenda planning, transportation, finding places to eat and visit. They even lent us a cell phone with internet for calling and mapping. We did not need any travel agent - they so kindly arranged for us the most amazing experience. The Cuban people are so kind and generous, and This experience of staying here was the perfect example of it. We hope to go back and would stay here again. We highly recommend it!

Johnny the master of the elevator ride who chaperoned my daughter up to the apartment on the night that she arrived very late at 1 am in the morning. Without understanding the language, I understood that he wanted to reassure me of her safe arrival!
Manuel the manager who always responded instantly to every text messages, ready to help with every request and query. He went out of his way to assist in getting concert tickets, restaurant reservations, organizing trips, etc. Staying up very late to receive guests and getting up very early for check-out never fazed him!
Most of all, thanks to Kendra and Jonathan for seamless organization, a super list of recommended trips, restaurants, cultural activities. Their tireless attention to all guests' accommodation and interests makes our visit special and unforgettable.
As first timer visitors to Cuba, Kendra and her team made us feel at home from the first minute. Communication was always excellent from the beginning and the team made us feel welcomed. The apartment is centrally located in Central Havana, so it is an easy walk to Old Havana or Vedado. Based on our experience, we would rent this apartment again and again. Thanks for an amazing time!
What an amazing place to stay in Havana! We were on the edge of "centro" and "viejo", which was great. Really felt like we were experiencing havana amidst the locals! and just a short walk to old havana. The apartment is beautiful and felt so comfortable for the stay with my daughter (12) and I. Our hosts were so kind - Kendra helped us arrange transportation from the airport, and a private (old school!) car & driver for a trip to Varadero beach, and they provided so much guidance answering all of our questions quickly as we prepared for the trip. When we arrived, we felt so welcome! Manuel took the time to greet us, orient us geographically, walk through everything in the home, and give us tips and advice based on our priorities. Yanitza made us a lovely "complete" breakfast every morning, and we so enjoyed talking with her about life in Cuba, was a great way to start our day! There were lovely touches, such as local cell to help navigate since our service is limited there.. as well as beach towels for use during your stay. Overall, a great experience - hope to return and visit with the rest of my family soon!
We had wonderful stay in this beautyful apartment in the centre of Havana. We felt comfortable and welcomed.
The host helped us a lot, with all the questions we had before about the Visa, they organized trips for us and even sent us a really nice babysitter, so that we could enjoy the Havana nightlife as well.
Additionally I must say, the list of the restaurants they gave us, was super ans were where really happy about that advises.
All in all my husband and I had a great time staying in this place with our four kids. I can absolutely recommend to stay in that apartment!
We were three couples & long-time friends who had a wonderful time exploring Havana from Kendra's apartment, which is convenient to so many sites. Kendra was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions before and during the trip, as was Manuel, the manager of the property. We loved the street life that was right outside the apartment building's doors and felt safe and welcome in the neighborhood. A fantastic choice for independent travelers to Havana! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.
Manuel was a terrific manager and very helpful to us. Yani was fantastic in the kitchen and has a great personality. Cleaner did a good job. Elevator operators were great. We had the best time staying at Casa Concordia. It is in the perfect location between Central Havana and Old Havana. The views from the apartment are stunning (head to the rooftop at sunset and you wont regret it!). The hosts were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Havana!

This is a beautiful apartment in a very authentic part of town that's close to everything. Everything in the apartment is utterly charming, the beds are super comfortable, the linen is very clean, we loved it all. The people who work with the hosts -- guides and cooks and cleaners and such -- couldn't be more helpful. We felt immediately welcomed, and looked after. Even the elevator guys were charming and sweet to our kids. Huge atmosphere in the neighborhood too. Yes, it looks run down, but don't be fooled, there are a couple of great restaurants tucked away pretty close, and it's a very central place to stay. This is Havana, so that romantic patina of decay is what spins the dream...though the apartment is very much done with an architects eye for beauty. I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Kendra and Jonathan's apartment is centrally located in Centro Habana, just a short walk from Habana Vieja, the Malecon, supermarket, La Guarida (easily the best restaurant in town) and the Capitol building. The interior is clean and keeps cool with the air conditioning (a lifesaver on those hot summer months!). We opted in for the breakfast service in the morning which was a great convenience. Kendra and Jonathan were amazing to communicate with and helped us book tours, airport transfers, and a translator - so so helpful! Cuba is notorious for patchy internet/wifi, so don't expect the wifi to work like back home. The individual bathrooms and air con for each room were a wonderful luxury for three sweaty colleagues at the end of each day. The beds were firm, but still very comfortable. As previous people have mentioned, the neighborhood is full of character and felt very safe to us walking around at all hours.
This is a beautiful place to stay and in a great location close to old Havana and other areas. We would stay here again. Manuel and Mabel were wonderful. We recommend doing the breakfast option. We hope to come back!
We loved this place! The views are spectacular with all the doors and windows open. It feels like an almost 360 degree view of Havanna. The pictures don't do it justice. The walk into Old Havana was very easy and convenient as well. The best part was the amazing staff. Kendra was extremely responsive and booked 2 tours for us, a salsa lesson, and even a dinner reservation. (Side note: the tour guides and salsa teachers were top notch.) We also had a breakfast in the mornings with Yanitza and/or Mabel cooking, and meeting them was one of the highlights of our stay. They were patient while we practiced some Spanish with them, and were so much fun to talk to before heading out for the day. Overall, we appreciated the place, but the people are an even better reason to book!
We spent our first four nights in Casa Concordia, and were not disappointed by our welcome to Cuba.
Manuel greeted us, showed us around the apartment and was very helpful in recommending restaurants we may have been interested in. The phone he provided us with was invaluable; it had maps already downloaded on it, which he talked us through.
The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and bright, with beautiful traditional Cuban glass and shutters opening out onto multiple balconies. Mabel came in every morning and provided us with the most delicious breakfast consisting of fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit, guava jam and croissants. She was helpful, funny and sweet. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
We booked salsa dancing lessons in the apartment which were great fun and taught by true professionals. We also booked a trip to Vinales with an English speaking guide who was fabulous.
We highly recommend Casa Concordia. Although top end of our budget, it was worth every penny.
Right at the door of the apartment we were greeted by the manager of the apartment. Don’t be fooled by your first impression, the neighborhood has a lot of bars and restaurants as well as nightlife - so it is very safe during day and night.
Walking into the apartment building you could imagine how beautiful the old staircase used to be. Once we opened the door to the apartment we were blown away. Pictures can’t do this justice. Its a very nice mix of new and old elements. The many balconies, colorful tile floors, and high ceilings gave you a colonial like feeling. Each of the 3 rooms were beautifully appointed, with well working A/C (which you will need).
After we settled in, the manager explained us every feature, went through the tours we booked, as well as restaurant reservations, explained us the wifi, the phone and gave us general advise. (He was always available for questions at our fingertip via text massage which was excellent)
We reserved restaurants via Kendra in advance, all of her choices were excellent!
As there are two very nice guys operating the elevator, it ads a level of safety, as they also function as door man.
The tour booked with the apartment, was very nice, the english speaking tour guide was charming, and our driver was very friendly.
We also arranged an airport transfer via the apartment, which worked perfect since it was the same driver.
We ordered the full breakfast every morning - which is worth the money. She came every morning and prepared a beautiful breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, fresh eggs, cold cuts and jam, as well as croissants. She was incredibly nice and charming and did everything to make us fell at home.
She also overlooked the apartment and the minibar, and gave us a lot of useful advice as well. Cleaning every day, and change of linen ever other day worked perfect.
I want to mention that there is one coffee machine and one espresso machine as well as a fully equipped kitchen free to use. All basic things like salt, pepper and sugar are also there and free to use - so its easy to buy some food and prepare at home - which we did not do.
A well stocked mini bar with fair prices is also available.
In conclusion, I can highly recommend you this property as has all the benefits of staying in a luxury apartment as well as offering you hotel service at the same time.
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Concordia. It is truly a hidden gem in Havana! Manuel the manager was extremely helpful and helped us with all of our dinner reservations and all of their recommendations were excellent! A little dose of luxury at Casa Concordia!
The house is beautifully decorated and is very clean (specially for Cuba standards). We stayed at Hotel Nacional 3 nights and here 2 nights and we liked this house much better....It is really the real local experience. My family loved it. It is extremely safe and the streets are hustling and bustling. And the people are great. It is the REAL Cuba....safe and full of life!!!! I'm really glad we experienced Cuba this way.
Casa Concordia was absolutely wonderful! Prior to the trip, I exchanged probably 50 or more messages with Kendra & Jonathan to organize my trip. They gave great advice on activities and restaurants and made lots of reservations for us. They also organized cars to the airport for us. Over the top hospitality! The flat itself was perfect for my group. 6 of us slept comfortably between the 3 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. There were even closets w/hangers, an iron and an ironing board. The staff at Concordia (especially Mabel & Manuel) were the best. Mabel cooked us a lovely breakfast every morning and Manuel made sure we knew our way around Cuba and had everything we needed. The local phone was so clutch I used it on a daily. This flat is a luxury (considering it's location) so for those who want to splurge a little bit - this is where you stay. The flat is located in a Old Havana so you're literally living in local neighborhoods. We felt like we were Cuban! Casa Concordia gives you the comforts of home within the flat itself but the reality and liveliness of Cuba right at your doorstep. The location is great, you're 5 mins walking to a major street with hotels, 10 mins to the capital, 10 minutes to callejon de hammel, etc.. The flat has a few balconies that give you some amazing views of Old Havana as well. AC. Clean, good quality linens, stocked mini-bar, and basic amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers). And just a fabulously designed apartment. Enjoy!
Manuel, Mabel, and Yanitsa were warm, welcoming and professional. Conversations over the hearty breakfasts created some of the best memories of our trip. We loved John, the elevator operator. The apartment and location are great. Kendra is organized and had a cell phone for us to use, lists of restaurants, and suggested multiple itineraries. 5-stars!

Casa Concordia is a wonderful gem in Old Havana! Our apartment had wonderful views of the city and was exceptionally clean. Kendra and Jonathon are pioneers, of sorts, in designing and refurbishing this beautiful apartment. It is located close to all important and historic plazas and sites so we walked a lot. Kudos to both for being visionaries for Cubas renaissance!
My wife, Blanca, and I really enjoyed our stay. Manuel, the manager, was most helpful in both English and Spanish. Yes, things are very different, still, in Cuba. For example, we are used to easy access to credit cards and banking services but not so easy here, yet. US credit cards are not available so cash must be brought in and converted. This will change, in time, I'm sure. Manuel can explain. He was so helpful to get us on the right track. He also connected us to Daniel, our well informed guide about the city's history. A very informed, well educated, gentleman who took us everywhere. Thank you!
Later, on our first morning, I wake up and slowly walked toward the kitchen and to my surprise, there was as Mabel, making a beautiful breakfast for us. We startled each other and both had a good laugh. She was delightful and we conversed with her and many others in Spanish while there. Kendra and Jonathan's place is beautiful. In addition, they provide incredible "concierge" services. I can't emphasize enough how vital these concierge services are in Cuba where not everything is set up for tourism yet and internet is mostly unavailable. The apartment was gorgeous.
Manuel the manager met us and came to check us in and out, and was very professional. We had a great breakfast prepared by Mabel, and the house has lots of Cuba maps, travel books, and other materials that were really helpful to us during our stay.
Kendra and Jonathan provided the most incredible added services including booking us tours, restaurant reservations, and providing us with a phone that included all the important spots marked on the map. The phone was indispensable, as was Jonathan's constant availability by text to answer questions for us.
We chose to do the walking tour with Daniel and learned so much. We also went to Vinales in a beautiful vintage American car, which we enjoyed, but preferred the splendor of Havana itself than to the countryside.

A great apartment to stay in while visiting Havana. Manuel the property manager is very helpful and always on time. The cleaners made sure everything was perfect for us each day. The apartment has a great balcony views and location wise it is a 5-10 minute walk into Old Havana. Overall a great stay, we would highly recommend.
My wife, 23 year old son and I spent four nights here and were delighted. The location in Central Havana suited us perfectly - close enough to walk to the sites of Havana yet separate from the mainstream tourist areas. The staff are delightful and helpful. They provided a telephone with navigation that assisted our exploration of this vibrant, challenging, charming city.
This place is amazing! We were able to stay only for two days because the other days were unluckily had already booked. Still, we are so glad we did. The place is spacious, the rooms are very clean, the atmosphere of the home with its details is really making you feel like you are living in a beautiful renovated Cuban Casa. The staff was also very helpful: Our manager, the cleaning lady and even the staff work for the apartment, they were all cheerful and always ready to help. Also, Kendra & Jonathan gave us the best recommendations for our trip in Havana. All in all, I definitely recommend this place.
This place is absolutely gorgeous! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Five star treatment. The location is authentic and lively. The balconies are to die for. I can't give it a higher recommendation.
When you first arrive you are taken aback by the street scene with its poor roads and decaying buildings,once you arrive at the casa a large door is opened up onto a small lift that takes you to the fifth floor.
The apartment is exceptional and the decor reflects a world gone by but is of a high standard.
Manuel is the perfect host and will offer advice as to places to see, he also provides a local mobile phone which was really welcome.
Breakfast is provided and is excellent.
Be aware you are living in an area of a time gone by and it can be quite noisy at night but remember you are in Havana city !!

Wonderful experience staying in Casa Concordia. The area, near old Havana, is a vibrant and fascinating window into daily Cuban life. The apartment itself has been restored beautifully and was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Jonathan, Kendra and their staff are wonderful hosts, providing recommendations for points of interests in and around Havana, restaurants, etc., as well as giving insights into Cuba and its history. They also provide tour services that are reasonably priced and high quality. We were very pleased with our time in Havana in large part due to our stay at Casa Concordia.
What can I say about Casa Concordia? I loved it! This place was exactly what I was looking for. I have stayed in many vacation rentals, luxury villas, 5-7 star hotels, and a wide variety of other accomodations around the world, so I have lots to compare to. The apartment was as described and as shown on the site, no hidden disasters etc. Kendra is an interior designer and I appreciated the little touches that were around the apartment i.e. the artwork and light fixtures and things like that. The architecture is amazing in Cuba, and I appreciate their interest in maintaining the classical structures yet upgrading the interiors to suit modern living. I found the rooms to be of adequate size, and seemed quite spacious compared to places I've stayed in europe and in asia. Everything was clean and at no time did I feel uncomfortable in my accommodations. If there was ever an issue, it was resolved quickly! Yanitza and the rest of the staff were great. With my limited Spanish and their limited English, we communicated well, and everyone understood each other. We had lots of conversations during the week as they prepared breakfast for us during our stay. Everyone in Cuba in general is very nice, as long as you just take the time to have a chat. The neighborhood is what I expected. As opposed to other reviewers who disliked it, I quite enjoyed it. I am a traveller that likes total immersion into living among the locals of the country I am visiting. And I was satisfied with this location, I was glad I was in Cuba to have as authentic an experience I could have. At no time did I feel unsafe, and trust me, we were out till 4-6 am almost every night. The apartment was within walking distance to most WIFI hotspots and very very close to Habana Vieja with all its sights, restaurants, bars and nightlife. The malecon was only blocks away, and we found ourselves just wondering up and down it on most evenings. I ramble on, but I can only say good things about Casa Concordia and Kendra and Jonathan. They were great hosts, with a great place, that I wouldn't hesitate to book again on a future trip to Cuba!
We had a great stay in Havana at Casa Concordia. The apartment is a beautiful retreat from the streets, very clean, nicely decorated, good aircon in the bedrooms and comfortable beds. The bedrooms are all a good size and all have very beautiful bathrooms. The building itself is incredibly atmospheric and although (like most of the buildings of Havana in this area) it is in need of some work, this is part of the experience. The area is an authentic and lively Havana street (traffic, kids, dogs, bread sellers, etc...) we really enjoyed watching daily life pass by below from the windows and balcony of the living room. There is a supermarket close by, a number of restaurants and it is a short walk to the major hotels and more touristy historic centre if you need wifi. We would definitely recommend for those looking for a more independent experience in Havana.
Casa Concordia was even better than we could have imagined. It was clean, beautifully decorated and our property manager, Yanitza was an amazing host. We are a group of 6 adults and we were all very comfortable and pleased with the accommodation.
We had a great time in Cuba and are very glad we used your apartment - it is an extraordinary place. The booking process, check-in and check-out experiences were all excellent. The apartment was spotelessly clean throughout and there were plenty of supplies to purchase in the minibar.

Our group of friends shared this beautiful apartment in the centre of Havana and all enjoyed it very much. We appreciated that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom and that that living room was spacious and had views over the city form the balconies. It was an excellent choice and we would highly recommend it, if you like something special. The staff were all wonderful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious!
Prior to arriving Kendra booked us several tours and salsa lessons, and they were all fabulous.....the classic cars we went in were out of this world! The salsa lessons were great fun, the teacher was very nice and spoke perfect English.

The most beautiful private residence, all pale mint greens and ornately patterned tiles (so welcomingly cool underfoot), our host projected total calm, a Havana mentality of stop, slow down, breathe, relax.
Exploring and falling under the spell of Havana, a city in which everything, but most of all time itself, seems to move at half speed - a sensation ordinarily only found in the wilderness, but discovering it instead in a humming city, proved as magical as it is rare. Holding up a giant, pastel tinted mirror up to all our behaviour, our obsessive connectivity and carrying of our phones, the anti-social tendency to text rather than talk, the ability to exist somewhere without really being present there at all. For all our frustrations and exasperation, these past two days have felt like a series of life-changing life lessons, a sequence of sage reminders from the universe of what’s important, and what isn’t, self discoveries, a confrontation of (& vows to adjust) all our bad habits. Without knowing it before we arrived, Cuba has proven to be everything and nothing like we expected, but most of all, all that we needed.

Casa Concordia is the real Havana experience where the entire team is amazing. We (myself, wife and 6 month old son) stayed at the chic yet classic Casa Concordia for 4 nights and was really impressed with the entire space, the City views it came with, it's walking distance to Old Havana and their extremely accommodating staff. Hussein, the house manager, was both attentive, funny and extremely insightful. Yanitza, who would served the most amazing cuban cappuccinos and breakfast ended up becoming our son's favorite person and babysitter a few times allowing my wife and I to venture out to places like La Guardia for dinner on the same street and Havana's hip cultural space Fabrica de Arte. If you're seeking luxury mixed in with an authentic Havana experience I can't imagine a better option in the City. Thank you again Johnathan, Kendra, Hussein and Yanitza for helping our family have such an amazing experience. Cant wait to come back to experience it all again.
We loved this gorgeous Spanish colonial apartment in the centre of Havana, so beautifully and tastefully done! We felt like we we're in another era. The service was great, from Hussein, who impressed us with his knowledge of Havana, to the Yanitza (hope I spelt her name right) who made and served us a delicious breakfast each morning. Excellent value as well!

We all fell in love with this place! This apartment is amazing, and so beautiful. Everything about it is so nice, from the traditional floors, the high ceilings, the antique beds, the modern bathrooms...oh the bathrooms!!! We wanted our own place, rather than soulless hotel rooms, and this apartment suited us perfectly for our vacation. We will be back! :-)

The design is simply beautiful, the apartment is very spacious and full of light. It has several balconies that we could enjoy the views from, and just watch life going on in the streets below - fascinating! We loved Casa Concordia. Situated the 5th floor of one of Havana's colonial mansion blocks, the views out from inside the apartment make you feel like you're hovering over the old city on the back of an enchanted old bird. The calm and elegant interior was a soothing reprieve after a long hot day out exploring, and Havana's best evening restaurant is a short walk away. Breakfast prepared the following morning was the best all holiday.
I stayed at Casa Concordia in December with my 75 year-old mom visiting Cuba for the first time from the states, and her sister. They loved the apartment. The location can't be beat and the apartment is comfortable and tastefully decorated with old-world charm. Casa Concordia is the perfect place to stay!
This was the first trip to Havana for our family, and what a memorable experience! Casa Concordia is simply stunning, such a beautiful and serene retreat with wonderful views, in the centre of a vibrant city. Our host and staff were all so warm and could not do enough for us.
Havana is such an interesting city to explore, with so much to see and do. The restaurants were first class, and we all loved the fact that there seemed to be live music everywhere. Loved the American Classic car that collected us from the airport, and took us to Vinales. We'll be back!

We really enjoyd our stay at Casa Concordia. Nice apartment in the center of Havana, and service which normally found in luxry hotels.
We will remember the warm and generous people in Cuba for the rest of our lives !

As a Cuba guidebook author, I know a great deal when I see one, and Casa Concordia knocked my socks off. I adored the homey 'boutique hotel' feel, and the views from on-high down over the street life of Centro Havana are a photographer's dream. It's not just a room in a hotel, which are standard all over the world. The apartment in Casa Concordia is phenomenal! It doesn't let you forget you are in Cuba during day and night and strengthens this special "Cuban" mood you are in all the time in this amazing country!
The apartment itself is very interesting because of its unusual arrangement, makes you recall those old Latino movies and gives you an incredible "back-in-time" sense!
Watching documentaries about the country in the mornings was also cool!
Besides, it was great, everything you arranged for us, restaurants and transport, and other things. We felt we were really welcome! It was an outstanding hospitality indeed! Thank you very much! :)
Having our charming hosts as our resident experts made our trip to Havana even more memorable. They booked restaurants, cars and trips for us and their local knowledge of the best places to eat and visit was extremely helpful. I think we'd have been rather lost without them. They also happen to be charming, fun and efficient - and Hussein, the manager is the best! Oh and the apartment was great. It's been beautifully renovated and is in a perfect location for exploring central and old Havana.
